The Sire is a black/yellow VT male with very minimal iridescence on the body and a nice finnage volume. The female is a full sibling to the male with a nice black color and a slight yellowish tint in the finnage.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and the finnage. The offspring (F3) likely will be darkbody (with maybe some iridescence) with either red, orange or yellow finnage with a chance of dalmatian spots to appear.

31/08/16: The pair spawned smoothly. Seems to be a small spawn.
01/09/16: The fry hatched.
03/09/16: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
05/09/16: The fry is feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.
05/03/16: The fry is now 15 weeks old and in the grow-out together with the BT011016 spawn. All VT offspring are darkbody with a black body. Some seem to have orange finnage. 

09/01/17: Two brothers now 18 weeks old.

27/02/17: Four brothers, 26 weeks old.

26/04/17: One VT male from this spawn were send to the 9th Betta Freaks Show in Kalkar, Germany and won a prize!
- 1st place M6 Veiltail male class - All Colors.

28/10/17: Black dalmatian VT male, now 60 weeks old! Really love this guy. Hope I manage to get some offspring from this male.
