The sire is showing a strong HM tail with rosetail features and shows a really nice black copper color. The female is a clean platinum white 8-ray SD (nearly HM spread) from one of my best spawns uptill now (BT040904). The color of the offspring (F1) is going to be a total surprise because I don't have experience with the copper lace and a combination like this. This pair should produce some HMs (some showing rosetail features).

The Sire is already is father of two spawns with my friend Magicbetta in Germany and BT181204.

29/12/04: Pair spawned!
30/12/04: Eggs hatched.
01/01/05: Fry in free-swimming stage, removed the sire.

14/01/05: The fry is 2 week old now and feeding well on artemia.

20/01/05: Made some pictures of the now 3,5 week old fry. They are growing very good on artemia. It looks like there are about 20-30 fry.

24/01/05: The fry is now 4 weeks old. The fry got their first portion of tubifex today.

13/02/05: The fry is now 6 weeks old and doing fine. It seems like some of these youngsters are showing a more copper and some a blue color. The blue color wasn't present in the other spawn of with a similar combination (BT181204, platinums used are sisters).

20/02/05: Made some more pictures of the 7 week old fry, which are now developing fast!

27/02/05: I jarred the first male (left picture). I appears that this line also carries marble because one youngster started to marble this week (right picture):

09/03/05: The fry is now 10 week old and several males are jarred.

13/03/05: Made a picture of a metallic blue female (see left picture).
19/03/05: Made a picture of a young copper/gold HM male (see right picture).

19/03/05: This spawn produces some really nice males and males. Here an update of the two fish from above...

22/04/05: 3 fish of this spawn went to the 3rd EHBBC show in Alzey, Germany:
- 1 Copper/gold HM male: Placed 3th in the Iridescent HM male class.
- 1 Metallic blue HM male: Placed 4th in the Iridescent HM male class.
- 1 Copper/gold female: Placed 4th in the Iridescent HM female class.
