The Sire is steel blue HMPK with a descent form (front rays in the dorsal could be longer and more directed forward, ventrals could have a bit more volume). The Dame is balanced royal blue HMPK bred by Supansa Peewpaug (Betta Garden Thailand).
With this outcross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F1) likely will be (metallic) steel blue and royal blue fish with a chance of black lace, marble and red wash to pop up.

27/08/19: The pair spawned.
28/08/19: The fry hatched.
30/08/19: Removed the Sire, the fry has entered the free-swimming stage.
31/08/19: 3 days old and feeding well on vinegar eels.

17/11/19: 12 weeks old!

22/12/19: Royal blue and steel blue HMPK brothers (16 weeks old)!

30/12/19: Two steel blue HMPK brothers at 18 weeks of age which were recently jarred!
