The Sire is an intensely colored darkbody extended red VT male which was given to me by my friend Max Derix who found him in a petshop. The Sire has a strong appearance, a strong body and balanced finnage with a nice primary branching in the caudal. The Dame is a darkbody extended red VT female which kind gift of my friend Matthias Polzin who found her in a local pet shop. Her shape is very promising and also shows a great primary branching in the caudal fin.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and the finnage. I hope to see darkbody reds back in the offspring (F1) but there is a chance of other colors to pop up as the background of both parents is unknown.

24/09/15: The pair spawned. Eggs in the nest.
25/09/15: The fry hatched.
26/09/15: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
29/09/15: The fry is now 4 days old and feeding well on BBS.

03/11/15: The fry is now 6 weeks old and RED!

04/12/15: The fry is now 10 weeks old and developing nicely! The first males are clearly visible.

19/12/15: The fry is now 12 weeks old.

26/12/15: The fry is now 14 weeks old.

26/02/16: The fry is now 22 weeks old.
