The Sire is a 'Green' HMPK with nice asymmetrical HMPK form! He has a nice bodyshape with balanced finnage.  The dame is a 'green' HMPK with a good, strong bodyshape, a smooth mouth-to-dorsal topline and amazing finnage. The female is a full sibling to the male.

The genetic make-up of the 'green' phenotype of these fish at the moment is not clear to me but could have a turquoise or royal blue base with chance that the metallic trait is involved. The offspring of this cross might give a bit more information about the genetic make-up of the parents.

With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, the smooth topline and the balanced finnage. The offspring (F2) depending on the genetic make up of the male can range from non-metallic and/or metallic turquoise, royal blue and steel blue based HMPK with a chance of red wash and marble to pop up.
