The Sire is darkbody yellow VT with a nice intense red color and minimal iridescence. Ideally the caudal of the Sire could be a bit longer. The Dame is a darkbody yellow, smooth topline and balanced finnage. She is a full sibling to the male.
With this cross I hope to fix the intense color with minimal iridescence as well as the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F2) will be VT. The offspring (F1) likely will be dark-, lightbody red, orange and/or yellow with a chance of dalmatians to pop up.

19/01/18: The pair spawned.
20/01/18: The fry hatched.
23/01/18: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
27/01/18: The fry is feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.
17/04/18: 13 weeks old. Interestingly, all the fry in this spawn are yellow, both dark- and lightbody.

13/05/19: One VT female from this spawn was send to the 11th Betta Freaks Show in Kalkar - Germany and won a prize!
