The Sire is an amazing steel blue based melano HMPK! Formwise he is among the best fish I have owned sof ar. He has a very strong D-shaped caudal fin, a nice volumnous dorsal with long front rays which are directed forwards a trapezoid-shaped anal fin and matching ventrals. The Dame a strongbodied steel blue HMPK female with a smooth topline and balanced finnage. The caudal is nicely D-shaped, the dorsal has a nice broad base (front rays bit short) and the anal is nicely parallel to the body.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F1) likely will be steel blue HMPK which are carrying melano black. There is a chance of marble to pop up.

18/03/17: The pair spawned.
19/03/17: The fry hatched.
20/03/17: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
25/03/17: The fry is feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.
09/07/17: 16 weeks old! All fry are steel blue and some show nice broad dorsals!

15/08/17: 22 weeks old steel HMPK male with an interesting form!

16/09/17: Two steel blue HMPK brothers with impressive dorsals (26 weeks old)!

21/01/18: 44 week old siblings! I think they have a good potential to work with although they the males became a bit heavy in their finnage as they matured.
