The Sire is a great large sized, full-bodied red HM PK with a nice shaped anal! The Dame is a sibling of the male and also shows a full body with nice intense red coloration. 
The offspring (F2) will be 100% red with a good chance of HM PKs popping up. Hopefully the strong body, size and anal finnage will be maintained.

17/10/08: Pair spawned.
18/10/08: Fry hatched!
20/10/08: Fry of the first batch in free-swimming stage. Removed the sire.

29/10/08: The fry is feeding well on artemia/BBS. Look at those full orange bellies!

21/11/08: The fry is now 5 weeks old and starting to show some red in the finnage. The bodies of these fish already seem to be very strong. Today the fry was transferred to a bigger grow-out.

14/11/08: The fry is now 8 weeks old and developing really well! They are growing really fast and I had to jar the first males as they were very agressive to the other males in the grow-out. This resulted already in some damaged anal and caudals, but that will heal in the coming weeks. The colors on these fish is really intense deep red. They do show a slight spoonhead, which has to be improved in the generations to come.
