The Sire is a cambodian based extended red which was bred by my friend Eugenio Fornasiero from Italy. He popped up from a spawn between a female from Eugenio (her grand-grand-grand mother was a red DTPK descending from my own line: BT030112) and an import male. The sire is a big fish with a strong body, beautiful topline, and very balanced finnage with a great form. The Sire was awarded with the 3rd place in the non-iridescent asymmetrical HMPK class at the Holland Betta Show 2014. The Dame was a joined import from Michel Stokkelaar and myself. Michel first bred this female after which she moved to my fishroom. She is a cambodian-based extended red HM PK with a nice long body, great shaped caudal fin, broad-based dorsal and parallel anal finnage.
With this cross I hope to fix the intense red color without hardly any traces of iridescence, the strong bodies, smooth topline and the balanced finnage. The offspring (F1) will be cambodian-based extended red HMPKs.

The Sire is also Mother of: BT230115B.

14/12/14: The pair spawned. Eggs in the nest.
15/12/14: The fry hatched.
17/12/14: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
22/01/15: The fry are now 6 weeks old.

13/03/15: The fry are now 13 weeks old. In total 10 males have been jarred so far. I am very happy with their form and color. Here an example of two males which have been jarred for about 2 weeks.

05/05/15: The fry is now 20 weeks old and developing nicely.

11/06/15: 25 weeks old.

23/08/15: Two males of this spawn were send to the Holland Betta Show 2015. Both of them won a prize:
- 2nd place M2 Asymmetrical HMPK Male - Unicolor Non-Iridescent.
- 3rd place M2 Asymmetrical HMPK Male - Unicolor Non-Iridescent.

29/09/15: Red HMPK female, 41 weeks old.

10/10/15: Two males and one female of this spawn were send to the Croatian Betta Show 2015. Two males won a prize:
- 1st Show Plakat Male Unicolor (Non-iridescent)
- 3rd Show Plakat Male Unicolor (Non-iridescent)

22/10/15: Two males and one female of this spawn were send to the Italian Betta Show 2015. Two males won a prize:
- 2nd M2 Asymmetrical HMPK male class - Unicolor (Non-iridescent)
- 3rd M2 Asymmetrical HMPK male class - Unicolor (Non-iridescent)
