The Sire is cambodian-based extended red HMPK which was bred by my friend Arie de Koning. He was the result of crossing an red HMPK pair Serkan Gündogdu which was F1 offspring of a pair from Chaba (Thailand). Hes has a nice strong body & peduncle and pretty good mouth-to-dorsal topline. His caudal fin is nicely D-shaped with sharp corners. His anal is nicely parallel to the body and a relatively small-based dorsal with nicely extended first rays. His color is really intense red with some underlying black scaling. The Dame is a cambodian-based extended red DTPK resulting from an outcross of my own line to a female of Serkan Gündogdu. She shows a pretty good caudal spread but the lobes could be more evenly distributed. She has a great extented dorsal which nicley matches the anal fin.
With this cross I hope to fix a broad dorsal with nicely long first rays, the strong bodies & quality finnage and intense red color (without black scaling and blue iridescence) in the offspring. The offspring (F1) will be cambodian based red HM PKs. 

13/09/12: The pair spawned, the nest if full with eggs. The males is taking excellent care (lower left picture)!
14/09/12: The fry hatched (lower right picture). There are defenitely 100+ fry!
16/09/12: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
27/09/12: The fry is now 2 weeks old and feeding well on BBS.

04/11/12: The fry is now 7 weeks old, alresdy spotted some nice broad-based dorsals!

13/11/12: The fry is now 9 weeks old and was transferred to a bigger grow-out.

07/12/12: The fry is now 12 weeks old and coloring up nicely.

22/12/12: The fry are now 14 weeks old. Here a picture of a young male I have jarred 24h ago.

31/12/12: The fry are now 15 weeks old. Jarred about 15 of them so far and still have a full grow-out. Here some random shots of some of the jarred males.

10/03/13: Two males of this spawn were send to the 9th Show of the Kampffischfreunde (IBC) in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Both won a prize:
- 1st Show Plakat Male Red or Black
- 1st Halfmoon Shortfin Male (All colors) + reserve Best of Variety

15/04/13: Three males of this spawn were send to the 3rd Betta Freaks Show (Bettas4all) in Rheinberg, Germany. Two of them won a prize:
- 1st Asymmetrical HMPK male class (M2) - Unicolor (non-iridescent)
- 2nd Asymmetrical HMPK male class (M2) - Unicolor (non-iridescent)

13/05/13: Two males of this spawn were send to the 3rd Italian Betta Show (IBC) in Ranco, Italy. One of them won a prize:
- 1st Show Plakat Dark Solid Color Male (D2A)

17/07/13: Two males of this spawn now 10 months old.

25/08/13: Two males of this spawn were send to the Holland Betta Show 2013. One of them won a prize:
- 2nd M2 Asymmetrical HMPK male class - Unicolor Non-Iridescent

13/09/13: One male of this spawn were send to the 4th Italian Betta Show in Piacenza, Italy which became 3rd in his class:
