The Sire is a cambodian-based HMPK with a nice intense red color and minimal iridescence. His form shows a nice potential but there are some points to work on: Ideally the mouth-to-dorsal topline could be a bit smoother, the caudal has a nice D-shape but could be bigger, the front rays of the dorsal are nicely directed forward but the base could be broader, the anal is nicely trapezoid-shaped and the ventrals have a good length and volume but have a better shape with more distinct tips. The Dame is a cambodian-based intense yellow HMPK with minimal traces of iridescence, a good bodyshape and balanced finnage. Ideally the base of the dorsal fin could be a bit broader. The Dame is a half-sibling to the male sharing the same father.
With this cross I hope to fix the intense color, the strong bodies, the smooth topline and the balanced finnage.
The offspring (F1) likely will be lightbody red and yellow HMPK.
