The Sire is a yellow/gold dragon HMPK with a strong (but slightly shorter) body and smooth topline. Good caudal spread althought the edges could be a bit sharper. Nice shaped dorsal fin which is nicely directed forward. The anal fin has a good shape but is a bit long. The sire shows very intense yellow in the finnage, but this is lacking on the body. It is important to note here that the real color is differnt than that shown in the picture of the breeder when he offered this fish for sale (see right picture).

The Dame is a gold HMPK with a nice torpedo shaped body, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The gold color ideally could be more intense but she should be carrying it considering her background.  
With this cross I hope to fix the form & finnage and intensify the yellow/gold color. The offspring (F1) will be HMPKs with a chance of DTPKs popping up.

01/06/14: The pair spawned late in the evening, eggs are in the nest.

02/06/14: The fry hatched.
04/06/14: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.

27/08/14: 8 weeks old.

10/10/14: 13 weeks old.

24/10/14: 15 weeks old.

10/11/14: Some jarred males now 18 weeks old.

04/02/15: Two males now 30 weeks old.

29/03/15: Four fish of this spawn were send to the European IBC convention in Friedrichshafen. Three of them won a prize and became 1st, 2nd and 3rd Show Plakat Male (Light solid color)!!
