The Sire is a black/orange VT male with some iridescence on the body. He has a nice VT form although I would like to see slightly fuller ventrals. The Dame is an intense yellow VT from a local petshop. 
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and the finnage. The offspring (F1) can be both dark- and lightbodied (with maybe some iridescence) with either red, orange or yellow finnage with a chance of dalmatian spots to appear.

07/04/16: The pair spawned, not many eggs there.
08/04/16: The fry hatched.
10/04/16: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
11/04/16: The fry is feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.
17/12/16: Two siblings at 36 weeks of age. Very happy with this pair, might try to spawn them in 2017!
