The Sire is a heterozygous metallic steel blue HMPK with a strong body and balanced finnage. He has a nice D-shaped caudal, a broad based dorsal with the front nicely directed forward, an anal fin with a good shape and length and matching ventrals. The dame is a heterozygous metallic steel blue HMPK with a nice bodyshape, smooth topline and balanced finnage. Sire and Dame are half-siblings sharing the same mother. There also is a chance they are both carrying melano as their mother was a proven melano carrier.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, the smooth topline and the balanced finnage. The offspring (F1) will be non-metallic, heterozygous metallic and homozygous metallic, steel blue based HMPK (and possiblly DTPK) with a chance of melano black, black lace, red wash and marble to pop up.
