The Sire is an intense red HMPK and was a kind gift of my friend Mihai from Rumania. He has a great form. The caudal has a good D-shape, the anal a good trapezoid form and the front of the dorsal is nicely directed forward. The Dame a strongbodied darkbodied red HMPK with a nice broad-based dorsal. She is related to my own line through her father (who is also Sire of BT221015B).
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F1) likely will be dark- and lightbody red HMPK.

05/12/16: The pair spawned.
06/12/16: The fry hatched, seems like a very small spawn.
07/12/16: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male. Seems to be quite a big spawn!
11/12/16: The fry is feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.
04/02/17: 9 weeks old and gaining color!

27/02/17: 12 weeks old. The first males start to show themselves.

27/04/17: 20 weeks old!
