The sire is a royal blue (probably non-metallic) 4-ray HM plakat showing a great overall shape; strong HM caudal, broad full dorsal and nicely shaped anal finnage. The dame is a copper/gold  (4-ray) PK female.
The offspring (F1) will be HM PK with a chance of getting DT PKs. The color will be a surprise as the background of the male is unknown to me. they probably will be metallic blues with maybe some light bodied fish or marbles popping up. 

The Dame is also mother of BT170905B and BT060406&BT080606. 

05/11/05: Pair spawned. 
06/11/05: The eggs hatched. The Sire is taking excellent care of them.
08/11/05: Fry in free-swimming stage, removed the Sire.
09/11/05: The fry is feeding very well on microworms and artemia!
15/11/05: The fry is now 1 week old and doing really will. I even spotted some DTs!!
18/11/05: Made some pictures of the fry now about 2 weeks old.

18/11/05: This spawn is huge. The fry is developing so good that I had to seperate the fry over several tanks in order to keep this growth going.

10/12/05: The fry is growing very well on tubifex and artemia and developing fast. All seem to become blue colored fish.

15/12/05: Some close-up pictures of a doubletail and singletail youngster.

27/12/05: Jarred the first male today. This little guy really shows an impressive broad dorsal for a singletail fish.
