The Sire is very vital copper/gold HM PK and is a brother from the 1st and 2nd placed HM plakats from the GBC show in Cologne 2005. This male has a good body shape, a strong HM caudal and an impressive broad dorsal. With this male I hope to improve the caudal finnage of my line. The dame is a metallic blue SD (showing some masking) which is carrying both plakat as marble genes.
The offspring (F1) probably will be short-finned and there is a chance some HM PKs will pop-up. The color of the fry can be metallic blue, platinum white, copper/gold maybe with some degree of marbling showing up as they get older. There is a chance some DTs pop-up.

The Dame is also mother of BT210505 and BT020705.

05/08/05: Pair spawned. The male has build a very thick bubblenest underneath the styrofoam.
06/08/05: The eggs hatched. The fry is hanging strongly underneath the bubblenest. The Sire is taking excellent care of them.

07/08/05: Fry in the free-swimming stage, the Sire is removed. It looks like there are ~50 fry.
09/08/05: The fry is already feeding on artemia.
14/08/05: Made a picture of a 9 day old fry.

07/09/05: The fry is growing slow but steady. They are now placed in a bigger tank to improve development.
25/09/05: The fry is now feeding on tubifex and red mosquito larva and developing really nice. The fry are copper/gold and metallic blue colored:
