The Sire is cambodian-based extended red HMPK with a nice intense red color and minimal iridescence. The Sire was a kind gift of Hermanus Haryanto from Indonesia. He has a big and strong body with a big sized caudal. which reaches a 180 degree spread and has a smooth appearance (the corners ideally could be sharper). The front of the dorsal fin is nicely directed forward. The anal fin is in good proportion to the rest of the finnage and the ventral fins have a single tips with a good volume. The Dame is a darkbody extended red with nice long body, smooth topline and balanced finnage.
With this cross I hope to fix the intense red color with minimal iridescence, strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F1) will be HMPK. Colorwise there likely will be dark- and lightbody reds. 

04/07/17: The pair spawned.
05/07/17: The fry hatched, seems to a big spawn. The sire is taking excellent care!

07/07/17: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
09/07/17: The fry is feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.
16/09/17: 11 weeks old! The fry have been moved towards a bigger grow-out. There are both dark- and lightbodied fry.

14/10/17: 15 weeks old!

02/12/17: Jarred the first male 2 weeks ago. Here a picture of him, now 21 weeks old!

18/12/17: 24 weeks old!

02/02/18: Two darkbody red HMPK sisters of 30 weeks old!
