Galaxy Koi HMPK

(Breeder unknown, Indonesia)

The Sire is blue/red multi HMPK with a strong body, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The caudal has a good D-shape with nice long outer rays and sharp corners. The dorsal has a good volume with the front rays directed forward. The anal fin has a nice trapezoid shape but ideally could have a more gradual slope. The ventrals have a nice length, volume and shape. The dame is a galaxy koi HMPK from unknown descent. The has a very nice torpedo-shaped body, color and finnage.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, the smooth topline and the balanced finnage.
The offspring (F1) will be likely be multicolored with a big change of galaxy koi marbles to pop up.

03/04/22: The pair spawned.
04/04/22: The fry hatched.
06/04/22: The fry entered the free-swimming stage and the Sire was removed.
26/04/22: Impression of two siblings at 29 weeks of age! The female is absolutely amazing in color & form. The male shows a good potential, although his topline could be a bit smoother.
