The Sire is a gold HMPK with a strong body and smooth topline. Nice D-shaped caudal fin with a 180 degree spread (slightly heavy branching), good dorsal and anal fin. The ventrals show a good length and volume. The Dame is a gold HMPK with a nice torpedo shaped body, smooth topline and balanced finnage. She is a full sister of the male. The gold color ideally could be more intense in these fish. 
With this cross I hope to fix the form & finnage and to intensify the gold color. The offspring (F1) will be HMPKs with a chance of DTPKs popping up.

01/06/14: The pair is spawning, both male and female are collecting the eggs in the nest.

02/06/14: The fry hatched.

04/06/14: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
12/06/14: The fry is now 11 days old. Spotted a DT fry:

04/07/14: The fry is now 5 weeks old and growing well on BBS and tubifex.

28/08/14: Two males now 7 weeks old.

05/09/14: Two males now 14 weeks old.

10/11/14: Two males now 23 weeks old.
