The Sire is a (metallic) blue/yellow HM PK was a kind gift of Eugenio Fornasiero from Italy with a nice bodyshape. The caudal fin has an impressive spread of >180 degrees with a smooth appearance and straight outer rays. The dorsal fin has a nice volume and the front is nicely directed forward. he anal is a bit too long. The ventral fins have a single tips with a good volume. Interestingly, the yellow mother of the Sire comes from Eugenio's dalmatian line. The Dame is a cambodian-based extended red with a strong body, smooth topline and balanced finnage. She might be carrying orange as two of her siblings where orange.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage.
The offspring (F1) will be HMPK. Colorwise there likely will be dark- and lightbody reds with with a chance of and orange and yellow to pop-up. Considering the background of the male there is a good chance of some iridescent wash.
