The Sire is a strong bodied steel blue HMPK with a nice D-shape with long outer rays, broad-based dorsal, trapezoid shaped anal fin and full ventrals. The Dame is a full sibling of the male. She has a nice strong body, smooth topline and very nice balanced finnage (nice D-shaped caudal fin and parallel anal fin). She was awarded reserve Best of Show in the European IBC convention in Friedrichshafen Germany (March 2015).
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F2) likely will be darkbody (metallic) iridescent with a chance of blondes and marbles to pop up.

01/04/15: The pair spawned. Eggs in the nest.
02/04/15: The fry hatched, looks like a small spawn.
03/04/15: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
